Video Storage
DVTech records and archives to RAID storage devices. RAID storage ensures that hard drive degradation or failures do not result in loss of video or system failure. RAID storage allows immediate and equal access to video that is 30 minutes old or 30 days old.
Live Alarm Playback
You can view live video while assessing and acknowledging alarms. DVTech can continue to replay video of the alarm event, including pre-alarm video, right beside the live video, allowing you to comprehensively assess the situation
Video Retrieval
Easily retrieve recorded video through a graphical display that allows you to recognize unusual recording patterns. You can even search for video based on various criteria (such as camera name and zone, or the name on a swipe card) so that you can follow all card transactions. Simply click on the schedule to play back all video in that time segment.
Video Enhancement
Control the video characteristics on live or recorded video. You can zoom into any video window regardless of the type of camera used. Image enhancement tools allow you to clarify and enhance the video, and you can export the video or individual images to common and verifiable formats.
Smart Search
Smart Search can quickly isolate motion events that occur in a specified region of the camera's view. Then you can play back synchronized video that was recorded at the time of the event from up to 16 cameras.
Highlight a specific area on the camera's field of view and search for movement within that area only. This can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to search for specified surveillance footage.

DVTech allows you to quickly retrieve and analyze video. Other DVR systems download the entire video clip before allowing searched video to be displayed. Depending on the speed of your connection, this may take several minutes to complete. With DVTech video is not downloaded until it is requested for display, allowing your search results to be retrieved more quickly.
Email and Alarm Output Notification
With DVTech you can be notified when your system is tampered with or is encountering problems. Events like video and scene loss (e.g. blocked lens, bag over camera, cut cables) can be set to trigger an automatically generated email message, notifying the administrator of the problem. Motion detection can also trigger email messages, along with numerous system related events like rebooting, stopped recording, system login, failed system login and more. In addition, most of these events can be set to activate a physical relay output, which can be connected to an external device such as an alarm panel, siren, or access control system.
